Who We Are
Who We Are
Code Ninjas Seattle is owned and operated by Geo and Chelsea, longtime Ballard residents of 15 years. With a 5th grader and a preschooler of their own, they’re passionate about creativity, education, and building community. When Geo’s creative work paused during the pandemic, the opportunity to launch a Code Ninjas in Seattle emerged and they jumped in. For the past four years, they’ve been dedicated to creating a fun, welcoming space where kids can discover, build, and grow.

Julie, our Center Manager, is a recent UW Computer Science graduate who brings both incredible energy and a strong technical foundation to the dojo. Raised in the small town of Monroe, she grew up with a deep appreciation for community and the role small businesses play in bringing people together. She’s passionate about helping our ninjas learn, create, and feel at home at Code Ninjas Seattle.
Sensei Vanessa
Sensei Vanessa
Sensei Vanessa is a recent Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of Washington. Fluent in multiple spoken and programming languages, she brings a global perspective to the dojo having grown up on the beautiful island of Java.
Sensei Shana
Sensei Shana
Sensei Shana is a University of Washington graduate, world traveler, and seasoned mentor in the dojo. Her coding chops and gift for guiding young minds are truly top-tier. With years of experience, she’s a Sensei of the highest order.
Sensei Nico
Sensei Nico
Sensei Nico comes from a long lineage of Code Senseis, and as a senior at Lincoln High School, he’s as cool and calm as they come. With aspirations to study Computer Science at a top university, he’s already inspiring the next generation of coders.
